Want to buy a farm in Vermont?

Welcome to the Farms In Vermont blog!
My name is Preston Bristow and I am a Realtor who specializes in Vermont farms. Although I work within the long-established and highly-reputable real estate firm of Woodstock Properties (www.woodstockproperties.com), the Farms In Vermont website (www.farmsinvermont.com) and blog (www.farmsinvermont.com/blog) is just me. As far as I know, I am the only Realtor who specializes in representing buyers and sellers of Vermont farms state-wide. This is my first blog, and I look forward to an active and lively site with questions frequently asked and regularly answered. I’ve been involved in farm conservation and providing farm services in Vermont for my entire career — over 30 years — and as a real estate professional specializing in farms, I find I have become a ‘point of entry’ for many seeking to pursue the dream of owning a farm in Vermont. Because of that I find I answer many of the same questions, time and time again, day in and day out, and a blog is a perfect answer to that dilemma. In time, it is my expectation that this blog will provide you with access to a site rich with useful content to plan your personal escape, whether full time or part time, to the fresh air, clean living, wholesome work, and slower lifestyle of a farm in Vermont. In return, it is my hope that you will engage my services in the search and purchase of the right farm for you!
