Vermont Seal of Quality

Another very useful marketing tool is the Vermont Seal of Quality which is issued by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets. The Seal of Quality is issued to farm products meeting the highest standards of quality and that are entirely produced and packaged in the State of Vermont. Upon acceptance of an application, the Seal of Quality mark can be used on labels, packages and merchandising materials for approved farm products. The Vermont Agency of Agriculture recognizes that flavoring and spices and other ingredients like cane sugar and salt are not generally commercially produced in Vermont and can be used in processed products receiving the Seal of Quality.

The Vermont Seal of Quality is an attractive graphic mark that seems to hold great appeal with consumers and is very worth getting. The Seal can also be obtained in variant forms that include the passages “Commissioner’s Choice” and “Agricultural Partner” and “Farm Heritage Partner” and “Value-Added Product.”
